1st Line IT Support

The candidate will largely be providing technical support services as required; both over the phone and in person. As a result, the tasks will include, but not be limited to:

  • Being the first point of contact for product/solution support.
  • Providing technical support to colleagues and working in support of the existing team. 
  • Installing new systems and identifying/reporting bugs.
  • Undertaking advanced technical troubleshooting and analysis methods.
  • Continuation of resolving incidents logged by other colleagues during out-of-office hours.

The successful individual will need to be able to demonstrate the following:

  • An analytical and methodical approach to problem solving.
  • An IT degree or further education training.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritise incidents as required.
  • Effective communication with non-technically minded individuals.
